ISSUE ONE - THE BLUEPRINT (Digital)

In our premiere issue of Exposed Brick Literary Magazine, our intention was simple: to build. Issue One's theme is "The Blueprint,” to build upon what’s already happening in our city: archiving our authentic stories, elevating artists, and increasing exposure to art that’s created about our lived experiences. We have curated this issue to showcase community creatives who are redefining our community through their art. 
 
Just as exposed brick is used to demonstrate a building’s history, here at Brick Lit, we are here as witnesses to the texture of our community. We encourage everyone to find their version of expression that makes them feel seen, loved and heard. May you feel inspired enough to share your gifts with us and may we all continue to create space for our community to thrive.
