VISION
We envision a vibrant and inclusive arts ecosystem where underrepresented voices are empowered, and artists thrive creatively and economically. Through 6 published issues, over 150 paid artists, $4,500 reinvested directly into the arts, and 300+ issues sold, we are building a future where community-driven art and equity go hand in hand.
MISSION
Our mission is to uplift and support emerging and historically excluded artists by providing paid opportunities, professional development, and platforms that amplify their work.
We do this through:
-
Publishing a digital/print magazine that has featured over 7 cover artists and dozens of contributors
-
Hosting over 20 vending events and 4 artist retreats in cities like Boston, Brooklyn, and Providence
-
Offering 12+ opportunities for artists annually, including galleries, workshops, performances, and festivals
-
Partnering with over 20 local organizations and institutions
-
Engaging interns from high schools, colleges, and globally
-
Utilizing tools like Wix, Canva, and Affinity Publisher to create professional, accessible platforms
-
Adapting to challenges (like the pandemic) by successfully launching a fully digital magazine and event model
Our goal is to continue growing sustainable spaces for artists to connect, develop, and be seen.
